The DOW Strategic Plan

“Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” Proverbs 16:3

The strategic plan has become one of the crucial tools in our modern churches. The document highlights goals and priorities of a Diocese and how those set goals and priorities should be accomplished.
In this regard, the Diocese of Wernyol is happy of her ten years strategic plan: 2018-2028 with the theme “Faith and Works.” The plan is in two phases: the first phase is the establishment phase where the Diocese will first of all commit herself to generate funds. This task will cover the first three years of the strategic plan. The second phase will be dealing with the action plan or execution of the contents in this plan; this will be done in the last seven years of the plan.
The Diocese of Wernyol Strategic Plan (SP) is being guided by three objectives. Firstly, the Diocese of Wernyol must devote herself in spreading of Good News to both believers and non-believers within her territory and beyond. Secondly, the Diocese must also ensure that her members are in peaceful coexistence with themselves and others. Lastly, it is our mandate as people of the Diocese of Wernyol to ensure that development is being experienced in the Diocese.
Therefore, it is our join responsibility as people of the Diocese of Wernyol plus our friends around the globe to work hard in our various capacities towards the set priorities in this plan right from the Parish, Deanery and Archdeaconry level. The Diocesan Commissions, Councils, Committees as well as our Sectors Coordinators should also ensure that our goals are being implemented. It is only when the Diocese has got the Cathedral, Fishery Company, Farming/Agriculture, Orphanage, Schools, Health Facility, Solar Systems, and Bore Holes as well as Scholarships and Foundation/organization that the DOW will be believed to have taken steps in development and implementation of this strategic plan. Therefore, your support shall be deemed vital towards achieving this strategic plan in the mighty name of Savior Jesus Christ.

“Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and
He will establish your plans.”
